I finally did. She also explained how to stop them. When you recieve one send a reply back to the same # & type in STOP all uppercase, you will then get a message back telling you that you will not receive any more messages from this company. I did this & got the reply. I will be watching my next bill to see what happens. Dont call the phone # The mail box is always full. A while back my son went on-line on my computer and did a quiz. He asked me what my cell no. was. Stupid, stupid me...I gave it to him. Neither of us realized what we had unleashed. A few days later I started getting text messages with trivia questions on my cell phone. I ignored them and simply deleted them, not realizing I was being charged. By the time I called my server and learned about typing STOP to end these texts, I had been double billed for at least two months. Lesson learned the hard way. I had even gone so far as to change my cell-phone server and phone number. Giving out my cell number was my fault...big mistake. Guess from what you're saying, they'd have got it anyway. No more on-line quiz games happening on this computer. Feeling a tad dumb here. What's that saying? "The rich get richer...". Enjoyed the article. Jose, you really hit home with this one.
