It pleases me to let you know you that my new novel, Riders of Land and Tide, has been published as an eBook and for the next six months will be available exclusively at www.Kobo.com.
Firmly convinced that this is my best work of fiction, I unashamedly recommend it to those who liked other books that I penned. It will set you back $1.99.
Should you read it and like it, please leave a review on the Kobo page for the book on Goodreads.
In this short video, I recount some personal experiences and talk a little about ePublishing.
If you’re not sure how or where you can purchase and read an eBook, please continue reading, as I’ve provided useful instructions. Otherwise just skip to the bottom of this email.
You can read a Kobo eBook on iPad or iPhone, Android smartphones, and BlackBerry’s. Depending on which device you have, you’ll need to download a Kobo app. Alternatively, you can use the Kobo Touch which costs only $99.99.
Don’t have a smartphone, tablet or reader? You can read my book (or indeed any other Kobo eBook) on your computer.
Once you buy it, head over to the page for Riders of Land and Tide. You’ll see a desktop icon on the lower right corner. Click on it.
A pop up window inviting you to download the Kobo desktop app shows up (they have both a Mac and a PC version). Click where it says “download app.”
The installation process will depend on which platform you’re using (Windows or Mac.) This shouldn’t take more than a minute. Once the app has downloaded, you’ll be invited to either log in (if you already have a Kobo account) or to create one. If you already bought my novel or any other eBook from this retailer you have a Kobo account. Otherwise you can just create it now. It takes a couple of minutes.
Lastly, if you don’t have a smartphone or tablet, but don’t want to download more software onto your computer, you have the option of using the Kobo Instant Reader, which runs in your browser and allows you to read offline. Learn more in the Kobo Instant Reader webpage.
Thank you for your patience and I hope you enjoy Riders of Land and Tide.
