At some point in adult­hood every­one grasps the full mean­ing of the expres­sion “gen­er­a­tion gap.” I par­tially got it when my kids were teenagers. Com­mu­nism made Cuba dif­fer­ent in many ways. For exam­ple, only an insignif­i­cant minor­ity of priv­i­leged peo­ple had video games, cell phones, portable music play­ers and other gad­gets that enter­tain the major­ity
